If you are covered by another insurance provider I will be happy to give you an itemized invoice at the conclusion of services that you can submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement.

My psychology practice is dedicated to the comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of individuals of all ages for developmental concerns such as autism spectrum conditions (including Asperger's Disorder), attention-deficit/ hyperactivity (AD/HD), learning disabilities, social and emotional difficulties, challenging behaviors, intellectual delay, and school problems. At the conclusion of the formal evaluation I sit down and meet with you to review the results and to provide a comprehensive integrated report, which includes any formal diagnoses and specific treatment suggestions. I am also happy to consult with school personnel, physicians, and other professionals as needed, to help coordinate services across settings. My background includes specialized training in pediatric psychology and in the the assessment and treatment of autism spectrum conditions at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and further autism training at the University of Michigan Autism and Communication Disorders Center.

My Role as a Therapist
My role is to thoroughly understand the issues you (or your child) experience and to help you get the additional services (help) you or your child need. Such services may be needed at school, at home, through follow-up consultation with your physician, or by pursuing other specialized types of therapy such as counseling or discrete-trial training.

My theoretical orientation is cognitive-behavioral. This means that in my view, understanding and modifying one's current thoughts and behaviors is central to making lasting improvements.
