After over 30 years of working as a psychoanalyst in NYC, I am now working exclusively with people who would like telephone, email or Facebook/Messenger sessions for individual psychotherapy. I am also offering supervision for therapists and other professionals who would like support and advice as they advance in their careers.

I believe everybody has the ability to succeed. We are all born with this promise. But sometimes things happen in our lives that inhibit us, harm us, or emotionally prevent us from moving forward. Sometimes it is not so apparent what is keeping us from moving forward. As we work together in a caring atmosphere we will discover and explore these blockages. I will help you find the tools to move forward, to make greater use of your talents and abilities, whether in your career, your relationships, your family, or any creative endeavor you might wish to undertake.

Please take a look at my website for further information. I look forward to hearing from you.

More Info About My Practice

I am also an author, having published a science fiction novel and several short stories, have published scientific journal articles in my field of modern psychoanalysis, and am a photographer and painter. I know the struggles one goes through to create work, whether in business or in the arts, and to bring it forth into the world.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy gives you the support and knowledge to help you safely explore the negative influences on your life, the ability to let go of them, and move forward into new possibilities.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love it when I see a person begin to flower, to shed their old skin and are amazed at the beauty of the world that has opened up to them.

My Role as a Therapist

My role as a therapist is to help you find your own way, to free up the blockages that prevent you from either knowing what you really want or achieving your goals or both.
