People typically seek out a psychologist when life, relationships, or work are not going well (often times they are all connected). Common issues are feeling afraid of failing (and succeeding) and hopeless that it, whatever "it" is (life, relationship, or work), won't change; feeling angry about not enough; not enough confidence, relationship harmony and satisfaction, having a nourishing community, time, or money; sad about missing out on what truly matters in life and seeing life pass you by! These feelings and beliefs manifest as behaviors that psychologists sometimes label as anxiety, depression, and/or trauma.

More Info About My Practice

While I facilitate people moving through and releasing traditional reasons people seek out a psychologist ( anxiety, depression, and trauma), I also facilitate peoples' exploration of happiness, relationship success, and professional fulfillment. Examples include: increasing self-esteem/confidence, self-awareness and authenticity, inner well-being, essence discovery and expression, conscious communication and relationship harmony, taking healthy responsibility and living in integrity, creativity and lifespan visioning, and taking pleasurable action steps to manifest your potential and/or resolve your concern or issue quickly.

I have found both from personal experience and working with over 1000 people during the last 10 years that whatever you give your attention to will grow. As one explores what makes them happy, relationship harmony, and professional fulfillment, their debilitating anxiety, heavy feelings of depression, repetitive relationship problems, and traumatic anchors from the past clear up dramatically--and fast!

I am trained as both a Clinical Psychologist and Big Leap Life and Relationship Coach. I also have training and extensive experience in EMDR trauma release therapy. If you are committed to explore your issue, concern, or potential, then lets meet for a FREE 30 minute in-person or telephone consultation to see if we are a good fit.

My Role as a Therapist

Additionally, I view the client-doctor/coach relationship as a relationship between an explorer (the client) and a facilitator (doctor/coach). The client is exploring whatever issue, concern, or potential that is most important to them. I, the doctor/coach, act as the facilitator of the client's exploration process. I only do so if I feel comfortable supporting the exploration process; the client is committed to exploring their issue, concern, or potential; and I have the client's permission to assist them in their exploration process.
