"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." Carl Rogers

Therapy is a place for learning, a privileged environment where you can be yourself and develop new skills. In so doing, you'll better understand your personal dynamics, nurturing better self-knowledge. This can help you avoid being a prisoner to your own reactions, empowering you to make more positive choices.

I use a person-centered approach, fostering a therapeutic alliance that will help my clients accept themselves so they can more enthusiastically dive into the learning process.

My practice attempts to answer Carl Rogers's compelling question: "How can I provide a relationship which this person may use for his own personal growth?"

Consequently, I work to create a collaborative, empathetic, and authentic relationship with my clients, always offering unconditional positive regard. Together we'll identify and overcome the obstacles that interfere with achieving your full potential. I use a variety of tools, including strength-based approaches, systemic work, psychoeducation, and cognitive therapy. We further enrich our work by understanding and observing the facts of our own relationship. This offers a unique and direct opportunity for learning.

I have extensive experience working with people who struggle with addiction and their loved ones, as well as with people who suffer from severe trauma stemming from sexual, physical and/or emotional abuse in their lives as children and/or adults.
