I have a positive and grounded personality which I use in my approach with my clients to meet them where they are. I consider it a privilege to assist clients in understanding how their past experiences may be impacting their current functioning, to live more fully in the present, and to develop ways to cope with life situations that may involve establishing new ways of behaving, thinking, and feeling. I do not believe that one-size-fits-all when it comes to therapy. I will tailor my approach to meet your goals for therapy. I am not the type of therapist that nods their head and sits quietly, I actively collaborate with my clients to help them reach their goals. I specialize in working with survivors of sexual trauma, clients struggling with life-stage transitions, and clients who would like to increase self-worth and foster self-esteem.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
I see a wide variety of clients who present with a range of different goals. Even my most independent and self-sufficient clients find it beneficial to have a safe space to collaboratively work through life's difficulties with someone who has a fresh and informed perspective.
Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
You are not alone! I have also had negative experiences in therapy, as many people have. I encourage my clients to be open and honest with how they think therapy is going, and how they feel about me as a therapist. I think therapy is an amazing experience and is incredibly helpful, but if you are uncomfortable with your therapist or the process of therapy, than it will not work for you. I strive to work with all my clients to make therapy a positive experience.
The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
The therapeutic process varies by each client's individual needs. For many, therapy is an ongoing process. Sessions are typically 50 minutes. The client determines when their needs have been met.
