More Info About My Practice

Although the majority of my private practice is fee-for-service, I do have a limited number of openings for clients with certain insurance plans ( Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, EBA). My fees for therapy range from $150-$165 based on sessions for individual, couples and families. As a special feature beginning in January, 2013, I will be providing half day therapy sessions (minimum of 3 hours ) for individuals, couples or families that are in a crisis, or who could benefit from a more short term and intensive therapeutic experience.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

One of my areas of expertise that I thoroughly enjoy in private practice is working with children dealing with parental separation and divorce. Parental separation is hard on families, tough on parents and difficult for children. While the parents struggle with their own life changes, the children, too, are
directly affected by the family disruption and many times feel guilty believing they caused the other parent to leave. I work closely with children in helping the, cope effectively with parental divorce, and help divorcing couples learn to work cooperatively for the best interest of their children.
