It would be my great honor and privilege to support you on your personal journey to wholeness and wellness. I believe strongly that every person walks into my office with unique strengths & abilities, and I thrive on helping people discover and live into those strengths.

I relish helping people recognize and break out of habitual patterns of thinking that create pain and suffering in their lives. True freedom comes from opening to new ways of relating to well-worn thoughts so that those thoughts lose their power over you. From that freedom, we can work together to create new ways of thinking, as well as more satisfying ways to relate to yourself and to others. Self-care and self-compassion are among the most powerful healing tools available to us, and I support people to access these tools in my office so that they can access them in their lives. I love watching people awaken to the new possibilities in their lives once they let go of old patterns!

I have a strong grounding in mindfulness and meditation, and these practices underlie much of my work. If it would be useful for your healing, I can even teach you these practices directly. Many past clients share that they have found relief from anxiety, stress, and depression by integrating simple & accessible mindfulness practices in their lives. If this sounds like the kind of approach that would help you, please call me or schedule online through my website to reserve a session today!

More Info About My Practice

At Rock Springs, we use a "Compassion Scale" to establish fees for services, ensuring that we can offer therapeutic services to a wide range of people in differing financial situations. Our full fee for a 50-minute therapy session is $160, and we offer services all the way down to $75 per session. Please call if you'd like to learn more about the Compassion Scale and what your fee would be based on your income.

I am pleased to work with a wonderful group of like-minded colleagues in our intentional community at Rock Springs. One advantage of working in this way is that our clinicians can collaborate if appropriate for the people we are helping. For example, I have worked with a client while another colleague works with that person's partner, spouse, or parent. Then, if appropriate, all four people (two clients & two therapists) can come together to support growth within the relationship, with each client benefiting from the support of his or her own individual therapist in the room. This rare kind of collaboration is a nice advantage for some people, and I am honored to work alongside such a skilled and compassionate group of colleagues.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I am skilled at helping people who are overwhelmed by stress or struggling with anxiety. People I've helped tell me I have a calm and grounding presence and that I help them access that inner calm as well. I enjoy helping people develop specific plans to reduce stress, overcome anxious thinking, and rewire their brains for reduced reactivity.

I am also skilled in helping people who are feeling depressed, having a hard time getting motivated in life, or are feeling adrift. I validate people's emotional experiences and help them explore areas that may be leading them to feel stuck. In addition to deeper exploration, I guide people to create plans to integrate pleasure back into their lives, starting with small goals. When the time is right, we explore values, goals, and aspirations for the future so that people can begin again to live their lives fully!

Finally, I specialize in helping people during times of transition and change. In particular, I love working with young adults who are in the process of coming into their own, determining who they want to be in the world, and charting their course for life. Similarly, I work with mothers who are figuring out what it means to be in this new role and how to take care of themselves within it. I adore watching young adults and new mothers blossom as they open up to their authenticity & live into their life aspirations!
