I am passionate about using an integrative model in my approach to counseling. This means that I am adaptable to whatever style feels the most helpful to you. Upon consultation, I often suggest some possible next steps, created from your reason for seeking therapy, and together we come up with a treatment plan that is therapeutically rich and uniquely suited for your needs. My guiding principals of therapy stem from an emotional, attachment based perspective. Together we might explore family of origin, relational patterns, trauma history, ideal future picture, and much more. I offer support, guidance, and a safe environment to navigate life's challenges.

More Info About My Practice

As a therapist who specializes in marriage and family relations, I am honored to explore with you ways you can strengthen your connections with others and heal from hurtful relationships. I have extensive experience working with issues of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and attachment. My office has a dedicated play therapy room to work with children and adolescents in a warm, open, child-centered environment. I love working with families as they adapt to the uniqueness of each member and learn skills to thrive.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Perhaps you feel as though the world is crumbling around you. Perhaps you find you have lost all interest and passion in life. Are you feeling low and tired? Or maybe constantly on edge? Perhaps you are feeling a wicked combination of any of these and more. Counseling can help you by providing a safe space to unload and unwind. In this place you explore those deep places inside and learn new skills that you can take away and slowly integrate into daily life. In counseling you learn more about yourself and how you relate to those around you. This has far reaching benefits that can be felt almost instantly.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love being a part of the process towards creating a better you. I love walking along side as a couple re-discovers the joy in their relationship, as a man or woman finds their voice and learns to express it in a healthy way. As a family learns new, healthy roles.

I love to work with families and couples in all stages of life including parenting issues, infidelity, addiction, adoption, behavioral and development concerns, and much more. Further, I offer pre-marital counseling for those looking to learn new communication skills that will enhance and strengthen their marriage.
