Relationship conflict? Has trust been broken? Are you considering ending your relationship? Do you feel that your partner is no longer the person you fell in love with? Are you both stuck repeating the same negative interactions over and over and over. Let me help you heal your relationship and move forward. Let me help you find answers to the questions you have about your relationship. Let me help you increase and improve communication, respect, trust, friendship, passion and intimacy with your partner.

Connections to our loved ones are the most precious gifts we have. I understand the pain and stress you can feel when they go wrong! I work collaboratively with clients to help them navigate through these tougher times. My approach is eclectic, tailoring therapy specifically to my client's needs.

Generally speaking, I believe that counseling should be brief and solution-focused; client's should feel that they can begin to use the skills in counseling at home on their own. The majority of counseling does not need to last for months and years on end. Call me today!

My Therapy Focus

My specialties lie in Relationship Counseling and Chronic Pain/Illness and/or Wellness Counseling. With that being said, most clients do not have specific ailments in one particular category. Our personal challenges are often an accumulation of stress in many areas of our lives. So I have experience in helping clients with many other issues that may arise while working within my specialty. I do, however, feel that adept counselors know when to refer their clients to other professionals who may have more experience in a particular disorder or challenge they may be facing. This is one reason why I offer free consultations. I want each and every client to have the best therapeutic experience possible!

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Here in the state of Texas, LPCs are required to have a Master's degree in the counseling field (which is much longer than many typical masters programs). They also take a state licensing exam and serve 3000 post-graduate supervised hours in their field before being fully licensed. Furthermore, they are required to continue their education like most other licensed professionals. Counselors are trained to do they work they do, they are professionals. We seek professionals to handle our illnesses, our finances, our haircuts, our legal matters, etc. Why should our feelings and emotional well being be any different? Most of the clients I see are, in fact, STRONG (not weak) individuals who know that therapy will help them get ahead in life, achieve more happiness, greater gratitude, self achievement and determination. Not to mention, emotional security and stability, relationship success, and much much more.
