For over 29 years I've been privileged doing the work I love: being a therapist to couples and individuals with the courage and determination to make formidable personal changes. I use sensible theories and effective skills to be the right therapist for YOU too. The one you experience as attuned, respectful, responsive to your needs - and knowledgeable in how to attend to them. Together we'll work toward YOUR personal goals. As we progress and you experience relief from your initial difficult emotions and life situations, you'll experience a transformative resilience to your life; new ways of dealing with others; and new ways of operating in the world.

I enjoy working with a culturally diverse clientele including Individuals, couples, LGBT, trauma survivors (PTSD). Although trained extensively as a Psychoanalyst and Marriage and Family Therapist, I've evolved to a focus on the cutting-edge theories of attachment, affective neuroscience, and mindfulness-based practices for individuals and couples. Fees: My fees range from $150-230 per 60 minutes. I accept credit cards, checks, and cash at time of visit. I am an out-of-network provider for all insurances except HMO's. Please consult your insurance carrier regarding their out-of-network benefits.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I have a lot of experience and success in working with individuals and couples who have experienced relational trauma in their past and continue to become activated in the here-and-now. By assuming a non-pathologizing position to suffering and privileging compassion instead, my patients' attachment injuries can heal.
