Reading profile after profile to find the right 'fit' when finding a therapist is a daunting task. My goal is to quickly build rapport in a safe, supportive, empathetic and non-judgmental environment filled with kindness and even a sense of humor to help you discover and resolve whatever issue(s) is keeping you 'stuck.' I look forward to the opportunity to work together to bring about healing, change and new perspectives.
As a therapist, educator, group facilitator, parent, and spouse, I believe I possess the background and life experience necessary to facilitate change. While some journeys are brief, others take time to discover. As a person-centered psychologist, you will direct the journey, yet I will ride along to point out some things you may be missing along the way. Improved insight and a better understanding of yourself will ultimately lead to growth and change and a healthier sense of self!
I offer treatment to clients of all ages specializing in anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, self-esteem, and self-confidence. I encourage you to invest in yourself and make your well-being a priority as this not only benefits you, but those who care about you. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile.

How Psychotherapy Can Help
While talking with friends or family can help diminish emotional stress in the short-term, talking with an unbiased, objective professional therapist will promote self-discovery. Often times, people who are close to you are unable and to identify "blind spots" that may keep you stuck. Therapy is a collaborative journey; working together in a safe and confidential environment will increase self-awareness leading to a fuller and more empowered life.
