I feel very optimistic that people can make positive changes in their lives and can create lives that are meaningful. Within a therapeutic relationship of trust and connection, I help people recognize how perceptions can keep us feeling stuck. With support, understanding, and clarity, clients become motivated and able to master difficult challenges life presents. Therapy provides a supportive environment to empower clients to discover and access their very best, develop insights that make change possible, and create fulfilling lives. I have been in practice for over 25 years, held staff positions at McLean Hospital and appointments at Harvard Medical School. I have advanced training in insomnia, anxiety, hypnotherapy, helping people cope with pain, headaches, bruxism and clenching, break unwanted habits, and other challenges. I have specialties as well in individual psychotherapy, geriatric psychiatry, marriage and couples therapy and have run groups for parents of children with special needs. I look forward to hearing from you.
