I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship with the people with whom I work. I believe it is important to try to understand each person's experience and perspective of their situation. I believe in the importance of focusing on strengths and the positives in each of the clients that I work with in therapy. I prefer to use a Cognitive Behavioral approach, however, I also frequently use a Family Systems approach, and lastly a Solution Focused Therapy approach. When I work with children, I will frequently utilize play therapy, depending upon the age of the child.
