How Psychotherapy Can Help
During my tenure as a therapist and as a person in the world, I have observed that many (if not all) people have unhealed, emotional wounds that create sadness, chaos, anxiety and depression in their lives. Left untreated, these wounds only grow and cause more havoc. Psychotherapy is a wonderful way to identify, process and heal these wounds. By exploring and talking about the wound in a safe place with a supportive therapist, the healing process has the opportunity to begin. As you start to validate your truth and yourself, you become more attuned to positive self care, worth and love which then creates a whole new you - the true you! Call me today, let's get started!
How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
What motivated me to give up a very lucrative career and become a therapist? My own personal journey of healing work ignited my passion to help others struggling with the darkness I had come to know so well. About 20 years ago, I suffered from depression, anxiety, panic attacks, night terrors and several addictions. I was blessed to work with a very talented and gentle therapist who helped me not only survive what I was going through but helped me heal the brokenness that I had always felt. After that experience, I was inspired to help others on their healing journeys. I know what is possible for you because of what I've been through - there is ALWAYS hope! I feel that the process I went through combined with my education and professional experience gives me a unique blend of insight and the ability to reach and help people on a significantly deep level.
