As an Art Therapist and Professional Counselor with 20 years experience, I can offer sustainable tools for personal

growth that are useful and effective long after therapy has ended. Learn how to use art making as your guide and

witness the changes you desire. If you are seeking a new approach, Art Therapy may be your answer. Art Therapy is

for everyone. Change your world and the world changes with you!

My therapeutic approach meets you where you are in life, and helps guide you in goal development, skills building,

and goal attainment. It is important that you find success in the work we do, and I encourage your feedback about

our collaboration. Together, we can help create the life you want. Using art is empowering and can help you gain

new perspective on your life. It is exciting to help people rediscover their creative self.

More Info About My Practice

I am excited to now offer Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM) therapy in my practice. CRM, developed by Lisa

Schwartz, M.Ed. is a body based multi-resourced model of trauma treatment that works with many issues. It is

gentle, centered, transformative and grounded in cutting edge neuroscience of attachment and attunement.

Many people find that combining Art Therapy with CRM, EMDR and/or EFT helps unpack the emotional baggage

they have been carrying; filled with things they neither want nor need anymore. Art serves as a grounding rod in

the process. Recognizing what your art is saying, you learn to identify cues your mind and body are providing and

begin to move forward. You can then replenish yourself with a positive, loving awareness, and fully believe in the

new you.

My View on the Nature of 'Disorders'

I am not comfortable with the traditional concept of "diagnosis". While on the surface it may seem that traditional

diagnosis can help you and your therapist, this approach often limits your perception of what is possible, and what

you can change. I prefer to look at the whole you- your strengths and weaknesses- then build on those strengths. I

have seen people grow and change in such profound ways that they no longer experience the "symptoms" of a

diagnosis, symptoms often believed to be a permanent state. I am constantly, and joyfully, surprised to see how

people transform!
