Dayli Marrero, Ph.D.
I'm a licensed professional.

I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 20 years. For the past 10 years, I have been in private practice but previously I worked in a variety of settings including hospitals and clinics in rural, urban, and suburban settings. From this varied experience, I have learned that regardless of the problem or the approach, the relationship between myself and my client is the most important factor in the success of the therapy. I focus on people's strengths and resilience and help each person set and reach their own goals. I believe it is important to respect each person's individuality and I strive to understand his or her context, culture, beliefs and history. I use a supportive and relationship focused approach to most therapies but also incorporate behavioral and cognitive approaches when it is beneficial. Some therapies are limited and brief and some can last several years. I strongly believe in empowering my clients and building self-esteem and relationships. My goal is to help people live better, fuller and richer lives. I encourage you to contact me and see if I am a good fit for you.
