For all of us, change, loss and challenge are natural parts of daily living, necessary for our growth and achievement. When coping and maintaining a sense of well-being become difficult for any reason, or your emotions seem too hard to handle alone, therapy can be helpful. As a therapist, my highest priority is providing an open, supportive environment in which you feel free to share and consider your experiences and feelings to gain greater understanding of the ways your relationships, circumstances, and history are affecting you. Our work together will be based on mutual trust, non-judgmental, and collaborative, always with the goal of your greatest personal benefit in mind.

More Info About My Practice

I have expertise assisting individuals managing depression and anxiety, grief and loss, relationship concerns, and life transitions and adjustments. Additionally, I have significant experience with aging-related concerns, wellness, chronic or life-limiting diagnoses, and other personal crises. I value working with elder persons and individuals affected by disabilities. Issues of creative expression, self-esteem and self-perception also are of particular interest to me.

My Role as a Therapist

As your therapist, my role is to explore with you your current concerns and how they may be outgrowths of earlier personal history and relationships through which you learned ways of thinking and reacting. As we discover new understandings together, my role is to empower you with a sense of your choices for future responses and coping.

My Guiding Ethical Principles

Trust, integrity, and knowledge are the foundations of my therapy practice. I am committed to respecting your individualism, values and beliefs, and maintaining confidentiality in our work together.
