I have a passion for working with women. Whether you are struggling in your connection to yourself or to others, I am honored be a guide along your path to knowing yourself more deeply and finding a life that is of your own making.
As women we experience many different seasons throughout our lives and we will need different types of support during different seasons. You and I will work together to understand what will serve you best today.

While I enjoy working with many different people, I particularly like working with women who are in transition or find themselves in the middle of a crisis that is changing the course of their lives (i.e., new adulthood, new job, divorce, grief, anxiety, depression, career change, spiritual crisis). I also focus my practice on mothers-to-be, new mothers and couples that are new parents as well as women who have a history of emotional/physical/ sexual abuse.

I believe that we grow best in an environment that is steadfast, reflective, responsive and compassionate. When these qualities are used to hold us, we can begin to hold ourselves and our experiences with more equanimity, clarity, trust and discernment. Many of us did not and do not have environments like this. It is my task as your therapist to help you experience these qualities in our time together and to help you find them in yourself so that you may live a life full of ease and meaning.

More Info About My Practice

Your therapy will be tailored to you, however I rely on two primary orientations. I work through the lens of depth and somatic psychology. Briefly, depth psychology explores the unconscious with the use of dreams, images, metaphor, and other tools. Somatic psychology encourages us to slow down so that we can listen to the wisdom of our bodies.
