There is an innate ability in all of us to heal. This is possible when there is a desire and a willingness to do the "work" which is required. The "work" isn't always easy; however the outcome is the most rewarding gift to Self. My approach is heart centered & spiritually connected- very present and open with keen insight. In most cases, very quickly I'm able to unravel the root cause of most problems and create a care plan to meet your goals.
Being apart of your healing process is a sacred gift; much like a midwife who supports and care during childbirth. Many men, women and seniors have used my services through their own re-birthing and renewal process. I know the journey, and also know first hand how empowering it feels to be free from emotional burdens and to live life fully from the brighter and lighter side. Your invitation to begin your journey to emotional wellness awaits, as you gracefully embrace change.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

Therapy is a confidential way to unburden yourself to a professional trained to listen and to be non-judgmental. The information shared is private & protected even in some legal situations. However if you plan to harm or have harmed yourself or others the law requires full disclosure. Therapy is a great place to be heard, acknowledged and validated. Your thoughts and feelings are important to me. You can be yourself, come as you are and allow your true self to emerge. The therapeutic process is healing with ups and downs and many twist and turns as you find your way. As your therapist I'm there to walk with you through these peeks and valleys so you are never alone. If one comes to the process of Therapy with a commitment to reach a desired goal then keeping the goal in view during each session will serve as a reminder of 'WHY' you're doing the work.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Culturally we have been socialized to carry our own load and if/when the load gets unbearable most of us are ashamed & afraid to ask for help. Some perceive this as a weakness or an oddity within. We have all had to develop a set of emotional tools to navigate life from childhood and those tools were developed from a childlike view of the world. Now that we are grown up we find that those emotional responses no longer give the same results so life becomes challenging and at times confusing. Going to see a therapist does not mean you are mentally ill or weak. Many people seek therapy to help untangle emotional knots so life and their relationships can be more enriching. Therapists do not prescribe medications we talk through issues, crate a plan with you to achieve your goals and support you within that framework. We build on your strengths in a safe and healing environment.
