I am passionate about providing an environment that will serve as a refuge and help you to begin the healing process, regain hope and increase your ability to cope. My approach to counseling will vary, depending on the issues to be resolved. My counseling philosophy is rooted in a collaborative process whereby both the client and the therapist participate fully in the therapeutic process. As a result, I believe that both parties (client and therapist) should mutually define counseling goals and work diligently towards that goal in a caring and patient manner. Effective counseling can help clients gain personal insights that lead to a better understanding of self and allow the client to grow, learn, and heal. I am happy to discuss any questions or concerns you may have. Overall, our time together will be about you and I am a fellow traveler on your personal journey to self-discovery.

My style is warm, and collaborative as I work to help you achieve healing on multiple levels (physical, psychological and spiritual). I engage in a process that is attentive to the integration of biological, psychological and social and spiritual aspects of healing. I focus on helping you promote growth and well-being that will strengthen your ability to make changes that you desire in your life.

As a clinically trained christian therapist, I provide gospel-centered counseling as requested. Additionally, my prior military background makes me especially suitable to helping individuals and families struggling to adjust to military life related stressors. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside active duty military/veterans and their families.
