I place high value on the therapeutic relationship and hold it as the central component in my work with adolescents, adults, couples and families who are seeking help with addressing their life concerns. By doing so, I attempt to foster a warm and collaborative environment wherein I work directly with clients to develop a unique path towards change - one that is defined by the client's terms of what it means to live a full life.

While I work with a variety of presenting concerns, I particularly enjoy helping those who struggle with relationship issues/conflict, difficult life transitions, disordered eating behaviors, and feelings of inadequacy. My therapeutic style includes an integrative approach that combines elements from Cognitive Behavioral, Emotion-Focused and Experiential therapies; however, I also find it important to remain flexible and adapt to my clients' therapeutic needs as they arise throughout the process. It is my belief that staying open and curious together without judgment aides in successful outcomes.

While I am not "in-network" with any insurance providers, I am happy to provide you with the necessary paperwork and guidance to submit claims for "out-of-network" reimbursement. The majority of my clients have great success with this process, and I am happy to help you navigate the logistics.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

I get it! It might sound like a lot of work to get started; you might fear being judged, labeled, or seen as "unable to do it on your own"; or maybe you just aren't used to investing financially in your well-being.

Regardless of your hesitation, an important point to remember is that you can start small (just a 15-minute phone consultation or one session) and change your mind at any time. At each step of the process you get to evaluate the benefits of your investment of time, money and energy into therapy.

I also like to share with people that therapy can be the one place that is yours - a place of safety, exploration, validation, support and respite - especially during times of high distress.
