Today you are one step closer to a new you where you feel empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being. As a client centered counselor, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in life, I look forward to working with you. I am an interactive, client-centered counselor. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges.

What I Usually Need to Know to Help

In order for me to help a client in therapy I need the client to be open and ready. This is the most important aspect of counseling. I can only help a client as much as they are willing to let me. So, the client needs to be present and open to what comes during the course of therapy. Many are plesantly surprised at the positive outcome of their therapeutic experience. I provide the space for unconditional positive regard and a place of trust and the client just brings themself.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

The client therapist relationship is of upmost importance in therapy. It is my goal to provide the space for my client to feel comfortable and confident in our relationship. This space is for the client and I strive to build a relationship of understanding and trust without judgement. The client can feel secure in sharing intimate parts of themselves so we can work collaboratively to build a healthier future.
