Real happiness and stability are the result of high-quality significant relationships!

I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT). I offer therapy to adolescents, children, individuals, families, couples, elders. I adopt a solution-focused, strength-based, and systemic relational orientation. I also incorporate child-centered play therapy and family play therapy. Additionally, I offer personality, relationship and couples counseling, and career assessments.

Grounded relationships benefit the family or person's central dynamics. I focus on my client's strengths and hopes for the future while helping them tackle real life challenges. I offer a variety of evidence-backed treatment approaches. This means that the therapeutic approaches I use are heavily researched effective when done properly. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy, and incorporate psychological, biological, spiritual, and social dimensions to my approach, and in so doing, empower a family or person to live life fully.

A native of Lake Forest, Illinois, I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder, where I majored in psychology and fine arts. In 2004, I graduated Magna Cum Laude with Distinction. I joined Psi Chi, The International Honor Society in Psychology, in 2002, and was initiated into and invited to Phi Beta Kappa, the Academic Honor Society, in 2003. I graduated from Loma Linda University Medical Center with a master's of science degree in marital and family therapy. I graduated in 2008 with a 4.0 GPA, and am currently working toward a PhD.
