I enjoy meeting with each new client, gaining insight into his or her world and finding that unique treatment approach to promote change and growth. I have many resources, life experiences and treatment modalities from which to draw to help clients meet their goals, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a highly effective therapy supported by research. Together, we create a treatment plan, based on the client's need, I've had additional training in sexual addiction, trauma and biblical counseling. As a Christian therapist, we explore together how God is working in a person's life through his/her circumstances, history and relationships. Can you tell I love what I do?

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

There is so much new research to help us understand the way the brain develops and how we can retrain our brains with the right therapy. There are many new treatment options that have been proven effective in outcome studies for the treatment of childhood abuse, trauma, PTSD, anger, depression and anxiety.

Other areas in which I work include panic attacks, marital conflict, recovery from affairs, divorce recovery, grief and forgiveness.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love walking with my clients through the change process. It's highly rewarding to watch people gain new insight and hope, change challenging behaviors and grow in relationships.
