My work with you will focus on creating a collaborative relationship that helps you to get what you need out of therapy. We will explore your struggles with curiosity and compassion. Whatever your reason for beginning therapy: personal growth, getting unstuck, relationship problems, grief, depression, fears getting in your way, feeling empty, or life transitions, we will work together to uncover those things that are getting in your way. You'll learn to better cope with life's struggles and live your life more fully. I believe we are all doing our best. Occasionally our best lands us in a place that is not exactly where we would like to be. I will work with you to help you discover the right path for you.

My Role as a Therapist

Everybody needs somebody who is 100% in their corner. That is how I see my role as a therapist. I am here to support you in moving through your current struggle, or growing and evolving into the person you want to be. I do not have all the answers, but I will help you to discover what is the right thing for you and how you can overcome your fears and challenges to achieving a contented, balanced life.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

I love getting to be witness to my client's hopes, fears, joys, and struggles. These are all part of what it means to be human. You are not flawed or broken because life is a struggle right now. My belief is, you probably didn't get what you needed in some way. Life is hard when we don't have all the tools we need. I see my job as helping you to get what you need to navigate life's challenges more smoothly. Or sometimes simply, to help you understand what you're feeling and that you're not alone. It is a privilege to work with you.
