Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

It truly saddens me that you have had a negative experience. Deciding to go to therapy is not always an easy process, so to take that chance to trust someone and not have it be a good experience can be difficult. I truly believed that if you are willing to open up and share your story with someone, that it should be valued. I hope that you can take that leap of faith and give counseling another try.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

There can be a negative connotation attached to the word "Therapy". However, I truly believe the opposite of the message that is often associated with therapy. You are not weak for going to therapy, in fact you are strong for being willing to confront difficult areas of your life. This is not something that many people are able to do. Therapy can be difficult and encourage you to look at things that are impacting your life in a negative way. By taking a chance on therapy and seeing the benefits that can come from it, are absolutely fulfilling and can be life changing.
