My Approach to Helping

My philosophy is to help my clients learn more about themselves through exploring and challenging their current understanding of who they are and what their role is in life. I strive to empower my clients to become the best version of themselves and move out of their comfort zone so they may grow. I am a strong advocate of a holistic approach exploring the biological, spiritual as well as the cognitive areas of each client I support.

More Info About My Practice

Brian received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Counseling Psychology from Arkansas State University. While earning his degree, Brian evaluated the fidelity outcomes for the Wraparound Fidelity Index 4 (WFI-4) instrument for Systems of Care (SOC), a federal grant funded by the National Institute of Mental Health. This grant was used to aid the families of young people with chronic emotional issues.
While assisting with this research Brian received advanced training in cultural competence and structured interviewing techniques. He was able to administer the WFI-4 and worked closely with families in NorthEast Arkansas that had youths with severe emotional challenges. Brian also worked with his colleagues in conducting research on the effects of the post-modern movement in psychology. His findings were presented at psychology conferences at the state, national, and international level, including the APA and SWPA conferences in 2008. After graduating from Arkansas State University, Brian earned his Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova southeastern University.
Having successfully completed his Masters degree, Brian provided mental health services at a dual diagnosis treatment center in Boca Raton. He later became a certified addiction professional (CAP) in the state of Florida. Five years later, Brian and his business partner James Loffredo founded Recovery Adventures, LLC and Recovery Management Services, LLC. At his private practice, he provides treatment to families, couples, and individuals experiencing mental health issues and addiction. He specializes in helping people with co-occurring issues.
Brian is committed to helping men and women overcome any life issues, re-establish familial bonds, and build healthy social relationships. His approach to treatment is warm, empathetic, and holistic.
