Change IS possible -- sometimes we just need a little guidance getting there. What change or transition are you looking for -- improved sense of self? Overcome issues and traumas from the past? Healthier and stronger relationships?

Working together we will identify signs and symptoms that pull you away from living your best life, and move toward achievable solutions to help you reclaim and really live your life to the fullest.

Areas where I can help include: Unhealthy relationships -- Low self-esteem -- Generally unhappy and feeling "stuck" -- Processing unresolved grief -- Releasing undesired habits (Internet addiction, food addiction, etc.) -- Relief from lingering effects of trauma or abuse.

After identifying the underlying problem and doing the therapeutic work, my clients often feel empowered and relieved, and are ready to live satisfying, strong, and purposeful lives.

As your therapist, I will authentically and compassionately participate in your therapy by asking questions, making observations, or offering reflective feedback.

I understand that sometimes the first step can be the most challenging.

Yet, the first step is up to you. I invite you to take one simple action right now. Contact me and we'll talk about what's going on for you. You're not alone, I'm here to help.

Of Note: I am an EMDRIA Approved EMDR Consultant and provide consultation to EMDR trained therapists. Additionally, I facilitate workshops on a variety of issues related to healthy living.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

Each day I work with clients who are overly stressed, not feeling connected to themselves or their loved ones, and are just "hurting" from life. Each day I journey with my clients and together we bring meaning and understanding to past emotional injuries and current day pains. Each day I am amazed at changed habits, new beliefs, and inspiring stories. This is what I love most about being a therapist‚?¶ the daily reminder of the human spirit and personal potential.

Another reason I love being a therapist is that together my clients and I discover that it's not about evolving into someone new, it's about peeling away layers of who they are not. I am witness to my clients stepping courageously into the life they dare imagine would ever be possible.

As a compassionate, interactive therapist, I sit as a guide, a witness, and a companion with my clients as they discover what their truth is, find their voice, and reclaim their joy of life again. How could I **not** be passionate about my profession and love being a therapist when I am given the gift of these moments on a regular basis? I love what I do!
