Life is full of bumps that can interfere with your ability to experience the full joy and happiness you deserve. Confidence and self esteem are easily challenged, sometimes individuals and families can use a guide in their journey, I can be that guide.

Counseling and psychotherapy is a powerful and individual journey. I use creative interventions to help individuals, couples, and families on their unique, personal journey of healing and growth.

If you're a parent, you know it is one of the most difficult yet most rewarding roles in life.
Parent coaching can help you navigate those difficult times, providing those instructions you wish your children came with. Do you want to understand and connect with your child at a deeper level? Filial therapy is a playful approach to helping your child and your relationship with them.

More Info About My Practice

I offer a variety of services including individual therapy, family therapy, parent/child relationship therapy, parent coaching, and a variety of classes and groups. I accept private pay which provides the highest level of confidentiality because none of your personal information including diagnosis or goals for therapy are shared with an insurance company.

I also accept bishop/clergy pay and crime victims reparations. If you wish to use your insurance benefits, I can accept Regence BCBS, EMI Health, DMBA, Aetna, and United Healthcare. For other insurance providers I can provide a statement you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. My rates vary and I offer a discount for self pay.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I'm skilled with helping children heal, develop, and grow. I use Play therapy, sand tray therapy, and art therapy with children, teens, and adults. EMDR is backed by research to be very effective in the treatment of trauma. I also have experience helping people recover from trauma and become survivors rather than victims.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Therapy can help in numerous ways; It can be difficult to seek help or even know how to begin, but I can help you by providing a safe, supportive, and accepting environment to help you discover the best ways to navigate your life.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

I am a mother of two adult sons and a grandmother of six wonderful grandchildren. I have had my own struggles as a mother and woman. I believe my experiences throughout my life journey has helped me become a caring, empathic listener.
