I believe that all individuals, couples and families possess a unique set of skills and tools through which they can achieve a healthy, happy and fulfilling life. Accessing these tools and applying them in life can be a more challenging process which can create dissatisfaction in life and relationships. As a therapist, I see my role as that of helping to guide individuals, couples and families through the process of identifying and harnessing the power of their strengths so that they may achieve satisfaction and fulfillment from life.
My approach to therapy is aimed at supporting you through the process of identifying and reaching your goals in life and your relationships while simultaneously honoring who you are as an individual, couple and/or family, the unique life experiences you've experienced and shared, and the manner in which you influence and are impacted by the many systems (e.g., social, cultural) and subsystems (e.g., couple, family) which you are a part of.

More Info About My Practice
In addition to my work as a therapist, I also offer Co-Parenting Facilitation where I work with parents to develop and strengthen their co-parenting relationship in the best interest of their child/ren. It is important that you know that as a Co-Parent Facilitator I do not hold any authority to make decisions about your child/ren, nor will I ever offer an opinion about child custody.
Sometimes parents have different perspectives regarding what their children's needs are, as well as how to best meet these needs. As a Co-Parent Facilitator my role involves assisting you and your co-parent in the process of better understanding your child/ren's needs from a developmental, emotional and psychological perspective so that you may work together to best meet these needs. I will also assist you and your co-parent in the process of engaging in what can often be difficult discussions regarding your child/ren with the goal of ultimately working together to make informed decisions that meet the best interests of your child/ren.
Often, Co-Parenting Facilitation includes assisting parents in the process of developing a co-parenting plan or modifying an existing co-parenting plan. I work with parents who are both court-ordered and self-referred. Many clients whom I work with have used Co-Parenting Facilitation as a means by which to avoid going back to court, or even while they are involved in litigation as a means by which to resolve co-parenting issues.
