My practice is founded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Put simply, I approach each person with the foundation that all actions have a purpose. We are always communicating something even when we are not saying a word. There is a reason behind what we think, feel, say and do. I am passionate about helping transform negative self talk into a personal truth to begin living out of confidence instead of fear. My perspective and insight is practical, realistic, and directed by the goals you have in mind. How Psychotherapy Can Help

Therapy is a unique experience. Here is a time solely dedicated to exploring who you are, adjusting habits to make long-term changes and creating a different life. It is easier to focus on helping those around us and not make time for ourselves, but this time for yourself is essential. Just like every other part of our body needs regular check-ups and investments, our mental health is no different. The therapist's office creates a judgment-free space to simply be. Be angry, sad, full of regret, mad, anxious, and/or depressed. Moving away from the negative self-talk is difficult on our own. The more you share the better I am able to understand where you are coming from and why your current circumstances, trials or emotions are creating an obstacle in your life. In every successful therapy treatment there must be a willingness in the individual to take a fresh look at themselves and begin exploring new ways of looking at their life and attempt to develop new habits that will affect the way he/she thinks, feel and acts moving forward.
