I believe in providing a safe and nonjudgmental environment for everyone. Each person has a unique set of concerns and struggles which is why I choose to meet you where you are at. With years of experience under my belt, I have collected a variety of techniques to help you work through your concerns. My theoretical orientation is eclectic because I believe it is not a one-size fits all approach. I have worked with children as young as three through adult. I have also worked with families, parents, couples, and groups. My motto is: counseling is about putting the puzzle pieces back together, finding the right fit.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I love being a therapist. I get the opportunity to work with a variety of clients from children to adults. Each person is unique and I love helping people discover the core issue and then figure out the right solutions for them. I consider myself to be a positive, solution oriented counselor. I try to work on the symptoms first and then develop preventative measures for the future.
How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
As a child, I struggles tremendously with anxiety, especially in school and social settings. Now, as a counselor, I am able to help those struggling coming from a place of compassion and understanding. Seeing as I went through it myself, I completely understand what you are going through and have been in your shoes. I think it is important to work with a therapist who has personal ties to your concerns or struggles because it adds extra sympathy to your therapy.
