In my work as a psychotherapist I work with adult women who are working through difficult life transitions or are struggling to find and maintain satisfying relationships and careers. I provide a warm, non-judgmental space for you to name and process what is troubling you in your life. I will support you to make choices that feel more authentic and congruent by teaching you how to access your entire self and all your wisdom when making decisions. When you are ready we'll explore those parts of yourself that may be wounded and possibly holding you back in life. If left unattended, old wounds can manifest in symptoms like depression, anxiety, panic, anger, etc. and keep us stuck in patterns that may not be serving us.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I really enjoy helping people understand why they are stuggling relationally and/or professionally, and importantly, how to find the answers to their struggles within themselves. Most of the time, what keeps us stuck and unhappy in life is rooted in old wounds from early relationships, whether it be with family members, teachers, friends, etc. We learn very early how to protect ourselves in relationships in a variety of ways - through resistance, giving up our power, avoidance, people pleasing, etc. - and these patterns stay with us into adulthood, often causing trouble in intimate relationships and in our professional lives. I enjoy helping my clients discover their relational style and how they protect themselves so they can learn to change these patterns and ultimately, have more satisfying relationships and careers.
