Want to stop obsessing? Feeling stuck in old patterns? Finding it difficult to cope with anxiety, stress, or sadness? Worrying too much? Or recovering from a traumatic experience?

As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, I help all of the clients I work with find new ways to cope with the difficulties of life. Working together we can develop new skills to help you better manage any challenges you are facing. I also work at Columbia University Medial Center where I stay up to date on all of the latest evidence based therapy techniques and approaches. I bring this knowledge to my practice and to the clients I work with.

I also teach Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) at New York University and at Hunter College. Here I teach, train and supervise students and practicing clinicians on using (CBT) to help others.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I feel incredibly lucky to be able to do the work that I do. I spent alot of years training as a psychotherapist and the best part about being a therapist is helping others make real change in their life. Think about all of the hours you spend in your day feeling anxious, sad or obsessing, and how much of your life you miss out on because of this. Now, imagine getting all of those hours back. That is my favorite part about being a therapist - helping others get their life back.

My Therapy Focus

Together we will focus on developing new, practical tools and skills that will help you live a better more fulfilling life.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

Gone to therapy for years and years and haven't seen any real changes? That is often what I hear from clients I work with. Maybe its time to try something new?
