As an insight-oriented psychotherapist, I believe that the better you know yourself, the better life you will have.
I can help you reflect on how and why you function the way you do and clarify motivations and reasons behind your choices. Symptom improvement and alleviation, along with improvement in your work, academic, and romantic life are the main goals I try to pursue in my work with people.
Your internal world is valuable to me and nothing to be ashamed of. I will help you to discover it in a collaborative and interactive way. Self-knowledge leads to awareness about who you are and what you want which ultimately leads to freedom.
Working with me can allow you to break yourself free from old habits and discover that you have a greater range of choices available in any given situation.
My approach can be useful at helping you get rid of internal blockages that prevent you from achieving your goals in life. We'll look together into your symptoms, problems, and discomforts. In this way, we'll find the roots of them and develop together ways to overcome your problems.
I believe that therapy works when there is flexibility and curiosity. I would define my style as warm, interactive, and open to feedback from the people I work with. I also believe in humor as a way to make people feel comfortable most of all during the first meetings where I do understand how difficult it might be to open up in front of a new person. I am aware that it takes a lot of courage to ask for help and I treat this choice with the maximum respect.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I love being a psychotherapist because I have found no better way to do work that is meaningful and transformative for others while simultaneously transforming, supporting and facilitating my own personal growth and transformation.
I find it to be a singular honor and privilege to play a part in other people's stories. I celebrate those moments where I see hope in the eyes of another person, a recognition of her/his own greatness, or a hearty laugh.
I love helping people to look at the factors affecting their behavior and helping them to respond in different ways. Then, we go back and look at the how those factors change. We get things figured out and watch what happens.
I feel amazed and humbled when a client says: I have never told anyone this before, but... At that moment, we enter sacred territory. The requisite trust and rapport have been built and now it?s time to take things to a level never before experienced. I essentially earn my living watching stories of strength and perseverance unfold before me. We share the obstacles and successes together.
