As a counseling psychologist, I find a deep fulfillment from my work with an extensive array of concerns and people. I offer couples and individual psychotherapy, and do so with special focus on career and relationship issues. I have worked effectively with people on an array of issues including mood/anxiety disorders, adjustment problems, career concerns, trauma, relationship issues, and various other matters. Before going into private practice, I led individual, group, and couples psychotherapy in an array of environments, including a community mental health center, a domestic violence shelter, and career and university counseling centers. I am dedicated to women's issues and worked on the Board of Directors of the Asian/Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project (DVRP) from 2011 to 2013. My approach is client-centered: I will work on an individual level with you to define what your objectives are and how we can work in collaboration toward them. I have completed specialized training in coherence therapy, multicultural counseling, and interpersonal psychotherapy, and I use an assortment of approaches to customize treatment to fit your individual needs. I am available to work together with you on a short- or long-term basis, and I provide daytime and evening appointments.
