My Approach to Helping

You are a creative type and are likely struggling with the existential issues of our generation, such as feeling disconnected or lonely, navigating a chaotic and ever-changing political climate, and a seeing a bleak outlook for the future. While on the surface it might look like you have it all together, inside you might feel overwhelmed, stuck, or just want to escape. You are fed up with things not working out, and want to have healthier relationships, but it seems like you keep running into the same frustrating issues over and over again. You want to heal old wounds that are holding you back. You are hoping to change toxic relationship patterns with yourself and others, learn to communicate and express your feelings effectively, and discover your most authentic self. Whether you are feeling anxious and not sure why, healing from heartache or trauma, or simply want to improve your self-esteem, together we will identify and change unhealthy patterns that have been getting in your way, and work on discovering the most authentic and healthy version of you. Each of us is on a personal journey of growth and evolution, and by learning how to harness your unique strengths and evolve through your setbacks, you can discover your individual potential and create the life of your dreams.

In eclectic depth therapy, we will be working collaboratively to bring the unconscious beliefs and wounds that are holding you back to the surface, and integrating the various parts of yourself to create a more whole and healthy version of you. You hold the answers to your own life’s big questions and mysteries within you, and together we will help you find those answers, gain greater understanding of your own inner world, and improve your relationships with yourself and your loved ones. Cursing and laughter are welcome!

The way therapy plays out in the room is personalized to you, depending on your unique needs, goals, and world view. The work is about learning how to create and maintain secure relationships, live authentically, have compassion for yourself, increase mindfulness and presence in your life, and feel more connected. You have the power to improve and evolve in the areas that are holding you back, while also learning to love yourself through the process. You can find your unique voice in this world, live with authenticity, and experience more inner peace.
