My therapeutic philosophy is strengths-based and client-centered. I believe in building trust with my clients so as to help them honestly identify their goals and objectives for treatment. I meet all of my clients with an accepting, non-judgmental approach and am firmly invested in helping them achieve their personal goals. I believe that within all of us exists the ability to reach our fullest potential, but that this often requires support and insight that supportive counseling can provide. My 20 years of clinical experiences has introduced me to a variety of issues and has prepared me to give my clients the best service possible.

More Info About My Practice

I accept most major insurance plans including: Anthem, ProHealth, New Avenues,Sagamore, and Multi-plan. I also offer out-of-network benefits as well as cash payment. Session fees range from $90 - $150.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I am particularly adept in helping women with post-partum depression and anxiety, as I personally faced some similar challenges and successfully overcame them. I am a natural childbirth instructor and realize that one of the most serious complications of childbirth includes the mother's mental state following birth.

My Role as a Therapist

My role as therapist is to build trust with my clients so as to help them honestly identify what their goals for treatment are. I then provide an empathetic, non-judgmental environment in which I support them in exploring obstacles and developing plans to overcome those obstacles. I assist them in identifying natural support systems and personal strengths to support them in this process. I consistently check-in with my clients to ensure that their expectations and goals for treatment are being met.
