I am passionate about supporting people in becoming more fully human. Surviving the pace and expectations of Western culture is no easy task. Juddu Krishnamurti said, "It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a sick society." My intention is to offer you a safe place to land in a crazy world. Our work will be guided by my roots in Buddhism and Yogic philosophy. We will make space for the wisdom of your body and listen deeply to the truth that resides therein. As a yoga teacher and body worker, I can use breath work, asana and therapeutic touch to support your healing process. With a collaborative spirit, open heart, and gentle humor we will explore unkind thoughts, unhelpful beliefs and habituated tension that may be getting in the way of your growth. Most recently, I have been immersing myself in the work of Peter Levine and Somatic Experiencing (SE). This orientation allows me to support people in navigating their fight/flight/freeze response with more awareness potentially offering freedom from stuck energy, habituated tension, and old beliefs. Feel free to give me a call to see if we are a fit. Until then, be gentle with yourself.
