I have significant experience treating issues such as anxiety, sad mood, body image concerns, familial and romantic relationships difficulties, addictive behaviors, sexual problems, low self-esteem, and traumatic experiences. If you are struggling with any of these difficulties my practice may be a good fit for you and I invite you to visit my website where I have more detailed information about my approach to treating each of these concerns.

It takes courage to seek help and my focus as your therapist is to create an atmosphere of warmth and curiosity where we can work together to help you make sense of and overcome your difficulties. Towards this end I draw on multiple therapeutic approaches that are supported by current research, and I have had several research articles published in peer reviewed journals.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I have a particular interest in helping people communicate more effectively in their relationships. Many of the people I work with came in initially because of anxiety around sharing their feelings, as well as because they often found that their attempts to share resulted in misunderstandings and hurt feelings. If this sounds familiar I believe I can help you feel more comfortable sharing your emotions in ways that help to deepen your relationships.
