I help individuals address challenges resulting from depression and anxiety, relationship difficulties, the stress of childhood trauma, and the many behavioral challenges families face. I teach communication skills that can help you manage even difficult relationships. By mastering these skills, you'll improve your voice, boost your power, and maintain contact with significant others.
I lead groups that offer a safe space to heal and explore emotional pain, while mastering new ways of relating to others. I rely on many approaches, including somatic experiencing, EMDR, Pesso-Boyden, Gestalt, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioral therapies. I offer assessments and testing for PTSD, ADHD, and attachment issues.
I help individuals dealing with traumatic stress to reduce panic, hyper-arousal, and numbness and pain in response to life and relationship difficulties. I combine relationship and calming skills to help reduce ADHD and family discord among young adults and adolescents. I address behaviors, cognition, emotion, and physiology.
I help couples and individuals explore how small changes in attitudes and relationship style can foster new ways of feeling, being, and thinking in the world, in addition to offering new solutions to challenges. This approach helps individuals connect with their sense of competence and joy.

More Info About My Practice
I facilitate a group that helps change and heal relationship patterns you derived from your family of origin, but that do not work in your current life. This group is structured to be safe, and employs creative resources while using symbolic representations to help you master new thinking, feeling, and coping strategies. Peso-Boyden Psychomotor System enables individuals to positively restructure early trauma. This model promotes healthy change that can enhance self-worth, encourage fulfilling relationships, and boost your satisfaction and meaning in life.
Another group is Healing from Childhood Sexual Abuse. This is a group that combines personal sharing and support with education and information. Topics covered include, understanding feelings of shame, guilt, anger and grief; identifying dysfuntional coping strategies such as denial, dissociation and addiction; recognizing patterns of destructive reenactment in current relationships and developing more adaptive emotional interpersonal skills
