My Approach to Helping
My guiding philosophy as a Therapist is to provide a place that is safe, thought-provoking and solution oriented. My clients do not feel judged and are understood and heard at a deep level. The therapeutic alliance is a mutual endeavor and one that provides healing for the client. I have over 10 years experience in providing specialized help for Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Bipolar, Co-dependency, Life Transitions, Grief and Loss, Eating Disorders and Couples Counseling. I am also certified as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor and work with a variety of addictions. I have served as a board member for the Illinois Mental Counselors Association and am also a member of several professional organizations. In addtion to working with clients, I provide supervision and consultation to clinicians in the Mental Health Field. I believe in the reality of hope!
