More Info About My Practice
I consider the process of psychotherapy to be a healing remedy for a human soul. When our physical body is sick, we have chicken soup to nourish it, we stay in bed and take a good care of ourselves. When our body is sore we get a good massage to rejuvenate it and bring it back to life. However, when our soul is screaming for help, why do we ignore it? Our soul needs some soothing remedy as well as our body to calm it's fears, to find inner peace, to empower itself. Psychotherapy does it.
It is hard in our busy lives to find someone special who will devote a time and give their undivided attention and energy to listen to your inner conflicts. It?s often uncomfortable to share your inner insecurities with someone you know. Besides it might make them feel sad for you, and powerless for not knowing how to help.
Psychotherapy is the luxury open self-expression, acknowledgement of personal hidden desires and the feelings, which subconsciously trigger to do the things in life, and changing them for better in a safe therapeutics environment.
The patterns of our lives consist of external events, and internal reactions, responses and behaviors, which often fail us. We go in circles and hopelessly try to make it different time after time. However, no matter how hard as we try we still can not see ourselves from outside. This is the job of psychotherapist, who will give his unconditional acceptance, devoted attention and wisdom.
The problem is that, usually, when people are unhappy, they keep themselves busy. They can not be alone with themselves. It makes them feel lonely and depressed. They happened not to be their own best friends in theirs mind. Oppositely, their mind is their enemy. Psychotherapy helps people to know themselves better. The more people know themselves - the more they understand. The more they understand themselves - the more they like who they are. The more they like - the more they will love themselves, eventually. We are talking now about unconditional love, which is has nothing to do with selfishness, but it relates to self respect and self acceptance.
Lately psychotherapy stopped to be a privileged treatment of rich people. Now days everyone can give themselves such a luxury gift of therapy.
