My Approach to Helping
I see people as collaborators in their own mental health and emotional well-being, and I approach my clients with respect and caring. Therapy can help you find or regain a feeling of balance in your life, resolve difficulties, and get "unstuck" in moving toward a sense of balance in your life. As a therapist, I am interested in the changes you want to make, your goals, your relationships, and your experiences - working with with you to help your life feel more enjoyable.

Day to day living can sometimes be stressful. We may feel unsure of how to change or unable to confront fear, loss or hurt within ourselves. This can lead to feelings of insecurity, depression and/or anxiety, even spiraling into feeling alone and emotionally separated from our loved ones and colleagues. Therapy can help bring you back into balance.

Individual Counseling provides a supportive framework for you to work with challenges, enabling you to fulfill your dreams, goals, and potential. Unpack life's baggage in a safe environment - give a call to see how I can help you love yourself and your life.

Relationship and Family Counseling focuses on helping you experience your relationships to the fullest through conflict resolution, building intimacy, and improved communication skills. "Can this relationship be saved? How can we get off this cycle of arguing? How can we begin our marriage with healthy habits that work?"

More Info About My Practice
My practice is not affiliated with insurance companies at this time. I am an Out of Network provider, and can provide my clients with a Superbill upon request to submit to their insurance provider for reimbursement.
My session is $100.00 per hour (Winter Special rate), and I have a few sliding scale spots for clients who have financial need.
My office is a peaceful, comfortable environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. We are located conveniently in the heart of Mission Valley - free parking and beverages, easy freeway access.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I believe that it takes strength and courage to seek therapy. Clients are the experts on their own lives - I am there to walk with them on their journey and I learn something from each client. The experience of sharing in a client's transition from a place of dissatisfaction or emotional pain to a happier, more satisfying life is fulfilling beyond words.
