My Approach to Helping

I have been a psychotherapist for more than 30 years. My work often focuses on people's ability to have positive and meaningful relationships with others while staying true to their own selves. I explore how past relationships and experiences impact in the present. I see therapy as an opportunity to examine the how and why of the way we think, and how these perceptions affect our relationships. Through the understanding of our defenses and patterns of behavior, therapy can bring about better relationships and more options for ourselves. In a warm and respectful manner, I help people to navigate through life's challenges and transitions, developing the skills necessary for a more satisfying and creative life.
