My Approach to Helping
My first goal is to hear what problems concern you. I then work with you to readdress these dilemmas in new and more effective ways. As part of your growth, we may choose to explore the family of origin sources of your hot button issues and of your patterns of dealing with difficulties (conflicts). This kind of rear-view mirror exploration can help you to solidy your growth. Our main focus though will be primarily on solving your current problems and on building whatever relationship or other psychological skills you might need to be able to enjoy a future of well-being. Your therapy will feel completed when you feel that you have resolved the issues that had been disturbing you, and your new patterns for dealing with difficulties feels reliable.
More Info About My Practice
Our professional group has a number of therapists, mainly psychologists plus some with other professional backgrounds. We all use similar treatment methods, but our fees range depending on experience in the field. We are glad to work with clients to arrange a fee schedule and appointment times that work for them. Potential clients can call our offices, 303 388-4211, or email the secretaries at psychologysecretary@msn.com to discuss which therapist would be best suited for them. FREE RESOURCES To play fun games that teach the skills for success in couple relationships, go to www.poweroftwo.org. The games are based on my books The Power of Two, and The Power of Two Workbook. For info on my books and audio or DVD teaching materials, see www.po2.com.
