My Approach to Helping
I am client-focused and strength-focused; that is, I start with your needs and concerns and work with you to accomplish the results you want, using the strengths and resources you already possess but may have lost sight of. I will work with you to clear away the things that block you from having the joyful life you want. If you feel "stuck" or uncomfortable in your own skin, I will help you develop more resilience, and to feel more at home in your own body. I am particularly interested in the mind-body-spirit connection, and support clients in making use of practices such as yoga, meditation, breath work, prayer, and other practices you find meaningful to support your growth and healing. I am particularly mindful of helping you to pace therapy in a way that does not overwhelm you.
