I believe therapy is not only about what happens in session, but between sessions. With that in mind, I suggest a minimum of two initial consultations so that we might see what it would be like to be in process together. Toward the end of the second consultation we discuss what the best next step is, whether that be continuing together or some other form of help.

I have been seeing clients for 26 years , and have taught at New College of California and U.C. Berkeley Extension. In addition to my work with adults and teens, individually and in couples, I provide consultation for practicing clinicians.
