My Approach to Helping
We safely unearth deep, buried core emotions and desires, as we explore long-standing patterns and negative beliefs and defenses such as fears and shame, so that you can become free, open, empowered, more truly yourself. I sometimes remark that "clients come to me with emotional or relationship difficulties and wind up leaving starting their own businesses or following their wildest dreams." You can achieve peace, joy, self-esteem, meaning, realizing your dreams and visions, and achieve nurturing, dependable, and loving relationships.

More Info About My Practice
If you are willing to do the work, and we have a good fit together, I will work with you to make therapy affordable for you. If you have out of network insurance benefits, you should get some reimbursement from your insurance company. The questions you can ask your provider are listed on my website. I can help walk you through this process. For those without insurance I can offer a sliding scale based on ability to pay. Most couples split my fee between themselves.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I consider therapy a second chance in life. Most of our parents do their best in loving us, and we do our best as we experiment in the world and develop our personalities. But our parents' best is often limited to their limitations. As a therapist, I work hard at helping my clients feel that someone gets them, that they feel understood, feel supported, we explore dreams and visions, make plans to get there, and I encourage them every step of the way.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I find it a great privilege to work with my clients, who share their inner lives with me, their emotions, their hopes and dreams. And I am privileged to have as my life's work the gift of helping them remove obstacles to their growth so that they can get everything they want out of life. I enjoy my work, and admire what my clients achieve.
