My Approach to Helping
I believe that healing occurs when we integrate the mind, body, and spirit. Therefore, my holistic approach is tailored to fit the needs of each person within a warm, compassionate, nurturing, and safe environment. I integrate cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, play, humanistic, family systems, and developmental theories creating a safe expressive therapeutic experience.

I specialize in counseling with children, adolescents and families facing challenges that occur in all of our lives. These challenges include anxiety, depression, ADHD, learning disabilities, anger management, school adjustment and bullying, trauma/PTSD, and parenting issues. I also specialize in assisting families coping with and adjusting to new medical diagnosis such as diabetes, celiac disease, and cancer. I provide play and art therapy, individual and family counseling, and school consultations.

Together we can achieve the goal of balance within the life of your child, within your family, and within you.
